I booked half board, and the food was good quality and plentiful. Hot dishes were ordered at your mealtime and brought to the table. Dining tables were set for two rather than shared, though you could still chat with nearby guests if you wanted. The hotel is clean and sits right on the seafront. The lifts were quick, even to my third floor sea view room, and entertainment was included in the price. Cash bingo ran every night for a small fee. I'm fond of old architecture, and some of the photos posted are taken in a function room that keeps many original features. Good value for a few days.

I had another brilliant five days at Queens last week, from 22-27 Oct. This was my fourth visit, while it was my friend's first, and she was happy with it too. Everyone and everything was five star, and we can't wait to come back. Kevin and Steve, our waters on table 8, deserve a special mention. They did everything with a smile and nothing was too much trouble.

I've been going to the Queens holtal for five years. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is lovely, and the staff take your order and bring it to you. I always order a sea view room and the view has been perfect. Only downside is the wi.fi. It's a very weak signal if your room is at the far end of the holtal.

Right on the Promenade near South Pier, with a sea view from my room. I was travelling alone and the room was small, but more than adequate, and the bed was comfortable. There are two lifts serving reception, the restaurant, entertainment and bar areas. My room was serviced daily, and I had an enjoyable stay.

Such a nice, clean and tidy place. The staff were accommodating and amazing. Alina was waitressing and couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. I'll definitely come back if I'm in Blackpool.
