Big rooms, and the breakfast was lovely.

We were made to feel so welcome at breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast itself was one of the best, and we left feeling full. The rooms were clean and comfortable, well equipped, with plenty of thoughtful extra touches. It’s in a great location, and they even let us use their parking space for our car. We stayed with a big family group, six adults, a teenager, children aged 10 and 9, two one-year-olds, and a three-year-old. It really felt like home away from home. The kids loved it, and for a birthday we were able to have cake in the lounge. We’re booking again for later in the year. Sarah and her fella are so friendly and welcoming, and the location’s perfect. Room 10 was beautifully decorated in purple, with an en-suite, water, tea and coffee. The bed had a memory foam mattress, so comfortable, neither too hard nor too soft. Breakfast is cooked fresh, and you can choose what you want in your fry-up. They’ll even get things in if you ask. There are cereals, fruit and yogurt, plus tea and coffee.

I booked a room a few weeks ahead and selected pay on arrival. They tried to take the money from my account anyway. It bounced because there was no money in it, and they cancelled the booking the day before we were due to go. Awful. I’m just glad we found somewhere else, or my son’s trip would have been ruined. I’ll avoid booking with them again.
