The room smelled horrendous, and there was a dead mouse in it. I contacted ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT. The hotel was dirty, and this is what the toilet looked like when we arrived. The sink is so close to it that I don’t see how guests are meant to fit through the gap, and apparently the rooms are all like this. The man was rude and quite aggressive, which made us feel very uncomfortable. When I raised the problems, he did nothing and seemed angry, like he didn’t care. I would not give this hoteL even one star. The man also tries to take a deposit and then not return it, pretending guests damaged the property so they won’t complain about the hygeine. They’re con artists. Stay at your own risk.

The concierge was especially kind and accommodating during our work trip, and my husband and I slept comfortably. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had hot water. Perfect :)

The shower and taps were hot, and the hotel is well placed near the town centre, bars and Blackpool tower. Three nights cost only £115, so maybe I expected too much for the price. Still, I wouldn’t come back. The bed was uncomfortable, the TV signal kept breaking up until it was unwatchable, and I heard other guests complain about their TVs too. Noise carried through the hotel like a microphone. The room was only average for cleanliness, and dust on the wardrobe got on my clothes.

The customer service was great, even if the rooms aren’t glamorous. The manager was very accommodating: he moved us to a lower floor for my mam’s mobility issues and let us stay well past check-out. The rooms are basic but have what you need, just don’t expect the ritz.

There was no hospitality when we arrived, and the room was pathetic, with a lot of noise outside. It was far too hot, but even though we had two kids, the manager refused to give us a fan. The bed was awful and the quilts were dirty. I’ll never visit this hotel again.
