Blackpool FC Hotel

A great hotel, with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. There’s plenty of parking at a reasonable cost, and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bar was great, with lovely food at very reasonable prices. We’d definitely recommend it.

The room was clean, very comfortable and quiet at night, and breakfast had something for everyone. Check-in and check-out were quick. The bar staff were sociable and honest too. My husband left his wallet on the bar, and they returned it promptly. We were unsure about parking at first because the car park around the stadium says one hour only. You need a space marked H, then enter your vehicle registration on the screen at the reception desk on the first floor. It’s about a 25-minute walk to the tower and only a few minutes to the beach. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

A couple of weeks ago we had to leave our other accommodation because it was so bad. We booked this hotel at half 8 in the evening, and what a difference it made to our weekend. The staff turned a terrible trip into something lovely, often through little things that made a big impact. The receptionist was so kind and caring when she greeted us, including our two-year-old. When we asked for a cot, she explained someone else would be in after 10 because she needed to stay at the desk with the fire system. At the bar, we asked if they could keep some milk for our son and heat some of it. Another staff member went above and beyond to get it just right and store the rest safely. At 10pm, a third person brought a travel cot to our room. He knew our son was asleep and only gave a gentle tap so he wouldn’t disturb him. The whole stay was amazing. No matter what they’re paid, these staff are worth their weight in gold. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay. We’ll definitely be back. Sorry this review took me a while to write, but this place deserves to have its kindness shared.

I stayed recently at the Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel (Radisson Individuals). The rooms were clean, the stay comfortable, and the location was good, but a parking problem has overshadowed all of that. I paid the full parking charge and kept proof, yet Ocean Parking, the company used by the hotel, has repeatedly sent me fine letters. When I raised it with reception and management, neither was helpful in sorting it out. They left me to handle the stress of being unfairly targeted by their parking operator instead of taking responsibility and supporting a guest. It’s deeply disappointing and feels like guests are being scammed while the hotel stands by. Keep strong proof of payment, such as receipts, screenshots and timestamps, or you could end up in the same frustrating position. The rooms and facilities could have earned the hotel a higher rating, but reception and management’s failure to deal with Ocean Parking’s practices drags down the whole experience. Until it’s properly addressed, I’d be very cautious about staying here.
