Sharn bek refused free cancellation after a family member passed away. They said booking.com was responsible for cancellations, but booking.com just sends the request to Sharn bek. It was unforeseen, and at an already distressing time, this was the last thing I needed. There was no care or compassion shown. Avoid at all costs. I’ve disputed it and taken it higher. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Great location, and the owners were lovely and made us feel welcome. The rooms were good.

It’s small, but has everything you need. Spotlessly clean, with a nice comfy bed and secure parking.

I was let down at the last minute, so I phoned and spoke to Elaine. She did everything she could to help and fit us in. The couple who run the hotel are amazing. Our room was lovely, clean and comfy, and there’s on-site parking. Thanks so much, Elaine and hubby x

I stayed one night for the football. The gentleman was really helpful, and so was his wife when I booked. They made me feel welcome and put me at ease straight away. The room was spotless. I’d certainly stay again and recommend it to others. Thanks.
