Shirley Heights Hotel

We’ve stayed here quite a few times over the last few years, and now we only go to Blackpool if they have availability. The rooms are always spotless and it’s in a very good location. The kids love coming here, and it wouldn’t be the same without Amanda’s lovely breakfasts and a chat with Derek while he takes our order.

Derek and Amanda were perfect hosts throughout our three day Weekender at Shirley heights, from the moment my sister, brother and I arrived until we left. The breakfast was amazing, with a great choice of cereals and yoghurt. As a vegetarian, I was very happy to be offered vegetarian sausages. Our room was spacious, with a double bed each for my sister and me. The fresh bedding and duvet were lovely and warm, the pillows and mattress were so comfortable, and the blackout curtains meant we slept like logs. It’s centrally located, close to most things, with the h & a club next door. The town centre, coral island, arcades, tower and beach front are about 10 minutes away. We’ve stayed in various places in Blackpool over the years, and this has been far and away the best. We’d recommend Shirley heights 100%, and have decided we don’t want to stay anywhere else in future. We’ll book again soon for my birthday in may. Thanks, Derek and Amanda, you made us feel so welcome, like we’d known you for years.

We felt completely at home during our stay at Shirley Heights Blackpool, and Derek and Amanda gave us a first class welcome. The room was immaculate and had everything we could need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, actually the best we’ve ever had. We highly recommend this lovely little gem. Thanks again, Derek and Amanda.
