Clean, tidy and comfortable, and it did the job nicely. The hostess, I think her name was clare, was so kind when we arrived and couldn't do enough for us. Parking was the only issue, but we knew beforehand it might be a problem, and it wasn't the hotel's fault.

My mum booked a room here last weekend, but after waiting half an hour to get in, she was met by a very hostile host who couldn't find the booking. She'd even called a few days earlier to confirm some details. Rather than help her, my mum went down the road and found a lovely little place without any trouble. I'm furious about how she was treated and how this could have ruined her holiday. After reading a lot of Booking.com reviews describing rooms as disgustingly dirty, I'm glad in a way that she didn't end up staying.

The staff were brilliant, very polite and easy to talk to, and the hospitality was fantastic. We stayed for three days and had the best three nights. The bedrooms are lovely and the beds very comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back in Blackpool. Thanks to Claire and her partner for making our time here so relaxing and special.

The owner is what made this stay so special. She was genuine, kind and welcoming, and although we hadn't met before, she treated me like a friend and made me feel at home straight away. The hotel itself was cozy, clean and beautifully maintained. I've rarely felt so cared for as a guest, and I can't wait to come back.

Paul and jess were as helpful as they could be, and the two men who carried my luggage were kind. My son and I enjoyed Blackpool in general and made nice memories on the beach, but I came home early after a really upsetting stay. clare, the manager, was rude and abrupt when we arrived. There was chaos, and she told me check-in was at 2. I explained I have anxiety in unfamiliar places, but I had to take my five-year-old back out again. She was also stressed about misplaced keys and blamed everyone else. I asked about breakfast, only to be told they don't do it anymore. Why was it still shown on the website? When we were eventually taken to our room, there was muck by the toilet and a false fingernail in the bathroom, plus musty and damp smells. There was no TV remote. One of the men fetched an aerial and tried to get the TV working, but it didn't work. I understand there's a bar and people want to enjoy themselves, but full-blast noise at 3 in the morning when young children are trying to sleep isn't acceptable. Someone else raised it and was thrown out with their nine-year-old grandson, without a refund for the night they didn't stay. On the second night, there were loud voices until the early hours. One guest got so drunk he kicked off, was abusive to his partner, assaulted a manager across the way, and the police came. I stayed in the room with my little boy, feeling anxious. I had broken sleep that night too. On the third night, guests locked themselves out and I heard raised voices. While packing and stripping the bed, I found stains on the mattress and under the quilt cover.
