John is a really nice, very helpful owner, and the house is spotless, including the room and breakfast room. It’s a lovely little guest house if you want somewhere quiet away from the clubs. You can come and go as you like, the WiFi is pretty good, and you can borrow any of his DVDs if you fancy staying in bed. The only slight issue is that the en-suite toilet and shower are a bit tight, but they’re very clean.

John’s breakfast is brilliant and well worth the price. He’s a great laugh and very accommodating, doing the work himself with a smile. His two West Highland terriers are a treat to play with, too. The rooms are modern and spacious, and it’s lovely to find somewhere warm and free of damp in Blackpool. With so many guest houses here, this one really is a diamond in the rough, and the best I’ve stayed in around Blackpool.

Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, and the guest house was pristine with everything you could ask for. John and his two gorgeous dogs, Toby and Millie, gave us such a lovely warm welcome. I’ll definitely stay again. Thank you xx

This was my second stay at the Glen over the bank holiday weekend, and I’ll definitely be back. John’s service and attention to detail are second to none. The rooms are spotless and have everything you need, including fluffy dressing gowns and slippers. We finished our short visit with a delicious home-cooked breakfast and fresh coffee. I’d highly recommend it to anyone coming to Blackpool.

The two hosts, John and Tony, have the sweetest little Westies, Toby and Milli, who are so affectionate. The staff were fabulous, breakfast was great, and everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. Honestly, I can’t think of anything bad to say.
