George took wonderful care of my parents when they needed somewhere at short notice while travelling to a funeral. He spoke to me by phone, made sure my disabled dad had a room with as few stairs as possible, and had it ready well before check-in. He even moved his own car so they could park by the door. They stayed again on the way back, then came back for New Year. George and Andy both go above and beyond, and nothing seems too much trouble. The hotel is a little tired and needs updating, but these new owners have already started work, which you can see in the dining room. If anything’s missing from your room, ask and they’ll get it straight away. They also really value constructive feedback from guests.

I felt looked after from the moment I arrived at The Rhyl until I left. The gentlemen who run the B&B are a credit to hospitality, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee. My room was clean and exactly what I needed while attending an event. It was very quiet despite being so close to the seaside. The prices are fair too, with Blackpool North Train station a 15 minute walk away and the pier less than 10 minutes on foot. I’d strongly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return. Thanks for everything!

Colin and Steven are fantastic hosts. They’re happy to go above and beyond, and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very clean, breakfast is lovely, and it’s well placed for the town, entertainment venues and beach. I’ve stayed at the Rhyl a couple of times and wouldn’t choose anywhere else. I’ve booked again for later this year. Their cabaret bar 137 is worth recommending too. Bev and Keith

Colin made us feel so at home, like part of the furniture. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great, and my fur baby was made just as welcome. A fab B&B with a really welcoming host.

The room and en suite bathroom were both very clean. There were plenty of cupboards and drawers for our clothes, and the staff were welcoming and fun to chat with. We had a lovely night and would definitely stay again.
