Hotel Sheraton

The service from nearly everyone was brilliant, and breakfast was wonderful. Lunch, though, was only a sandwich or sausage roll, and the tea was lovely. I tipped the eight staff working on our last evening. We stayed Sunday to Friday morning as a family on an all-inclusive break, which added selected drinks and that lunch option to the usual stay. The drinks list left me disappointed. Captain Morgan's Rum was listed, but what we got was dark rum rather than the classic spiced gold. Disarrono could be added to the all-inclusive cola for £1.20 a shot, but after paying £18 extra each day I expected advertised orange juice, cranberry juice and vodka to be included. Instead, some drinks came to nearly £10, and the £18 daily difference seemed to get us little more than a sandwich. I ordered a sex on the beach. The only extras beyond the included options were a peach snaps shot and shaking it in a mixer. Most bar staff charged for just that addition, but Peter, a bald manager with glasses, insisted on charging the full cocktail price of £9.50 rather than just over £4. He really put a damper on our final night. I think his name is Peter. Thanks sincerely to all the other staff for looking after us.

We had a lovely evening listening to Suzanne O'Donnell. She matched her song choices to the room, and everyone got up dancing. The hotel has wonderful views, a cosy, relaxing and welcoming feel, and friendly staff. Great location too. We'll come back. Thank you.

The nightly entertainment was a hit, especially the children's show and bingo, and the pool was brilliant. We also had spacious, comfortable rooms and a cosy atmosphere, with trams making it easy to get around. I came to Blackpool with my mum and daughter, and the Sheraton was fantastic. The food was the best we've had at a hotel. The staff were lovely, especially Lucy and Laura in the restaurant. Can't wait to visit again, and we'd definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed it so much that we've booked a long weekend for 13/2/ 25. The food had a big variety, everywhere was spotless, and the staff were friendly. The lounge was really comfy, bingo was well called and the entertainment was good. Tram and bus stops are right outside, and someone helped us at check-in. Thank you. We were in an accessible room, which was warm and better than we expected, with the lift right by our door. There wasn't a thing I could fault.
