We love these cottages. They’re traditional and comfortable, converted thoughtfully to a contemporary standard, with exposed stone and wood throughout. The views are great, and the hot tubs are fabulous for relaxing at night while looking up at the stars.

We’ve stayed in several of this lovely collection of cottages, all with a homely feel, but the treehouse has been our favourite by far. It’s great for a couples’ break, with a log fire and a hot tub where you can relax and stargaze.

Lovely scenery and local walks, and the cottage felt homely with everything supplied, including wood, toiletries, towels and a hair dryer. We’ll definitely return, and bring friends!

We spent an amazing week in Old Steading, a roomy two-bedroom cottage made from a 200-year-old cow shed. It’s one of four separate holiday homes, and each has a log burner and hot tub, perfect for a cosy evening in. From here there are wonderful views over Glen Shee towards Mount Blair, and the Cairngorms National Park is just a few miles up the road. A great base for exploring the area.

Having a lovely, relaxing time in these beautiful surroundings. We’ve made good use of the hot tub so far. This afternoon we’re off to a gin distillery.
