The rooms are a bit dated, but they’re clean and in good condition. It felt more like a family experience than a hotel: people chatted between tables in the dining room and got to know each other, which made for a good atmosphere. The management and staff are lovely, and the food is superb, though there isn’t much choice.
We’re grateful to everyone at The Water Garden Hotel for helping our family make such lovely memories during the December 2018 holidays. We came together as five siblings, with spouses and children, and booked two suppers. The chef was clearly very talented, every plate was wiped clean, and the food was delicious. The owner went out of her way to accommodate us, and the staff were just as accommodating, efficient and warm, always doing extra to make things work for our large group. Absolutely excellent in every way.

A great choice if you need a strictly Kosher hotel. The staff are very friendly, and there’s a good range of Kosher products, including items for Passover.
For me, it’s one of Bournemouth’s best hotels. It looks and feels much better than the two stars Google gives it, and I’ve stayed many times. The hosts are really nice, and their dogs are amazing. When my parents stayed once, they let me join them for breakfast. I’ll keep coming back :)
