Llety Ceiro Guesthouse

A no-fuss holiday setup that seems to work really well. It’s like a DIY, upmarket Premier Inn, which I hadn’t come across before. The room was lovely and the views were great. There’s a small kitchen attached to the main dining area where you can prepare your own food, plus a lounge and patio for sitting around. You’ll need to bring your own food and drink. There’s plenty of parking and even a play area for children. We didn’t see any staff while we were there, but nearby there are several places to eat, get a drink, or order a takeaway, so that wasn’t a problem.

The 1 star food hygiene rating on the door worried me, though none of us got ill and I hope they’ve managed to improve it. The rooms were clean, the bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was tasty every one of the 3 days. I tried something different each morning. My room wasn’t cleaned and the bed wasn’t made up each day, which was disappointing. It’s a charming family b&b in a lovely location, and the staff were friendly. I’d consider staying again.

We all had a wonderful time, and it was great that the place was dog friendly. We took over the property for my mother in law’s 80th, with 20 of us aged 22 to 87. The sitting room was a real wow for its size and comfort, the bar went down well, and the dining room fit everyone easily. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, all with en-suites. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and crockery, but there’s no dishwasher, just a sanitizer, so bring your rubber gloves. There’s a good pub within walking distance, and the spar and railway station are a short drive away. Borth and Aberystwyth beaches are pure heaven. Thanks so much.

There were 18 of us, adults and kids, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Having free run of the property made it feel like our own place for the weekend. We brought two dogs too, and they felt so safe in the large shared spaces. It’s a perfect venue for a family getaway with the whole family, and we’re looking forward to visiting again.
