The beef and pork roasts were divine, hot and freshly cooked, with generous portions. The vegetables were a tasty selection, and the meat was so tender and succulent. It was the best Sunday roast I've had in a pub, great value too. It totally blew us away. What a lovely surprise, thank you.

The Sunday roast was delicious, huge, and very reasonably priced, with that home cooked, gran-like feel. I came on a friend's recommendation, and this was my first visit. The bitter options were limited, but what they had was good and well kept. It's a cosy pub with loads of atmosphere and really helpful, friendly staff. One of the top three in Bradford on Avon, in my view. I'll be back, and I'm looking forward to trying the Monday quiz night.

There’s even a little courtyard out back for summer, and TVs showing sports if that’s your thing. Inside, the decor, music and atmosphere are great, with friendly service and a wide range of beers and other drinks. The famous pies and food are another draw. Best pub in Bradford on Avon.

I didn't get to try the Sunday roast, though I've heard loads of praise for it and expect I'll have one soon. The drinks are well priced, and the selection is good. If you like cider, the choice of Lilleys cider is the biggest I've ever seen. A fantastic pub in beautiful Bradford on Avon, and a great find.

The beers and cocktails are especially well judged, and the atmosphere and decor are right too. Two cocktails for £10 and premium Spanish draft beer are particularly welcome. The pub team and bar staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. If you're visiting town and need a drink, start here.
