We felt right at home at the Fife Arms and would love to return. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the festive season, and the art tour was a fun way to hear about several of the pieces. We arranged a day trip to some castles with the Ghillie team, and it was fantastic. Every meal was wonderful, and we loved every moment of the whiskey tasting at Bertie’s. The whole team paid wonderful attention to detail.

Everything, from the food and drinks to the service, felt right for a 5* hotel. We had an exceptional stay at the Fife Arms and will definitely come again. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to head up to the Scottish Highlands.

The design is world-class, and the suites are worth staying in. The location is incredible but very inaccessible. We had great activities and mostly good service, though some of it was very eccentric. Dinner was average for the high price, and the lighting was much too bright. Maybe that's just Scotland.

Having afternoon tea beside two Picasso masterpieces isn't something you forget. The hotel is beautifully put together, almost an art gallery, and the care in its construction is obvious to anyone who's started a business or been involved in building one. The owner has created something magical in this remote part of the Highlands. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, made with fresh, high quality ingredients. We're already looking to book another trip with the dogs and extended family.

We stayed one night on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, and felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff we met were all incredible, and the food in the dining room was excellent, with just the right atmosphere. Our Lord Byron room was perfect. The art tour showed just how special the hotel is, with 16,000 works of art inside. It was a wonderfully opulent experience. I'd recommend it for a special occasion in a beautiful part of the country.
