While walking Hadrian's Wall, we found this place a real haven. The owner was a wonderful hostess and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was roomy, comfortable, clean and thoughtfully laid out, and there was a lovely downstairs living room for relaxing. The food was out of this world, and she sent us off with a fantastic packed lunch. I highly recommend it.

Set on a farm, this place is peaceful and a little out of the way, but worth every penny. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. I loved the little touches, like bath salts beside the large freestanding bath, and fresh milk on request for making drinks in the room. The bed was comfy and I slept really well. Deborah and her daughter were so welcoming from start to finish and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was very nice, with super soft, freshly cut bread. I only wish we'd stayed longer. Highly recommend.

One of the best places we've stayed. The B&B is right on Hadrian’s Wall, and Deborah is a fantastic host who couldn't do more for you. The room was delightful and breakfast was fantastic. If you order dinner, wow, the home-cooked food is tasty and delicious. And whoever Eduard is, you have obviously never stayed there!

Deborah and McKenna looked after us so well on our overnight stop during a road trip from London to Edinburgh. We were in week two of a three-week trip that had also taken us to Bulgaria and France. We called ahead to let Deborah know we'd be arriving late, and she had a hot dinner ready despite the hour. The rooms were lovely, and the landscape was gorgeous. I could happily have slept in that glorious bathtub! We also got to meet the sheep and a few ponies. The next day we left well rested, full and with a suitcase of freshly laundered clothes. I'd love to spend more time in the area, exploring Hadrian's Wall and the Borderlands. I'll definitely be back.

Deborah even had our walking boots dried overnight, which would have made the stay a six-star service by itself. The B&B is ideally placed for the start of day two walking Hadrian's Wall, and she made us lovely sandwiches for lunch on the trail. She also serves beer and wine. Our rooms were fantastic, the evening meal superb with large portions, and breakfast excellent. A fantastic host. Google needs to add another star to do this B&B justice.
