I've stayed at Mount Street House many times, and Myfanwy and Nigel are always welcoming and friendly. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, with plenty of refreshments in the room. Breakfast is cooked fresh to order. It's a beautiful area, right in the centre of town.

Nigel and Myfanwy really look after their visitors. My husband is well over six feet tall, so they suggested a higher-ceilinged room for our second visit. We've stayed here twice in different rooms, and they're lovely, with beautiful views of the Beacons. Breakfast is outstanding and they can cater for Coeliac disease. Although it's close to the centre of Brecon, it's quiet. Arranging our arrival and getting in and out were easy, and communication during the stay was simple too.

Mount Street House is a charming guest house in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, with shops, cafes and some of the area's best hiking trails close by. We found check-in and checkout quick and easy, and the staff were warm, helpful and welcoming throughout. Our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully presented. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it as a base.

Breakfast was so fresh and the ingredients were amazing. We also slept really well in the comfortable bed, and the spotless bathroom had a hot, strong shower. The room was beautiful, with an amazing mountain view, and all the toiletries, drinks and biscuits were high quality. The house has been renovated to an extremely high standard and is in a lovely, quiet spot, just a couple of minutes' walk from town. We had a warm welcome when we arrived for our weekend at Mount Street House. Brecon itself is fab. We walked to Corn Du in snowy conditions, which was an adventure. The first night we ate at the lovely local Indian restaurant, and the second we had craft beers and homemade pies at Brecon Tap, which is worth a visit. We'd definitely stay at Mount Street House again, and I highly recommend it.

Breakfast was a highlight, with excellent local ingredients cooked really well. If I lived nearby, I'd ask to come in just for that meal. We had a comfortable, welcoming stay at Mount Street House. The owners take real pride in the guest house and were accommodating for our family. Our room was clean, spacious and recently refurbished to a good standard.
