After walking up Pen y Fan, our spotless, comfortable twin room had everything we needed to relax. The Beacons Guest House is an easy five-minute walk from Brecon High street, just off the main road into town, and Pont ar Daf Car Park is at most a 15-minute drive away. We really enjoyed breakfast. There was a freshly cooked full fry up, with a vegetarian option, as well as smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs. Pastries, yogurts, cereals, a coffee machine, different teas and juices were there to help ourselves to. The free parking behind the B&B was a big plus. It felt secure and had plenty of spaces. Friendly hosts, good facilities and great value made for a fantastic stay. We’d happily come again and recommend it.

Sophie and Tilly were wonderful on both of our visits, and really went out of their way for us. We stayed twice in a fortnight, first for a cricket tournament and then for a family wedding. The welcome and service were warm from beginning to end. We’d book the Guest House again without hesitation if we come to Brecon. Thank you both!

The people at Beacons Guest House are so warm and kind, some of the friendliest you could meet. We loved the rooms, breakfast was great, and the location is superb. Can’t wait to stay here again :)

Our group stayed for two nights at the beginning of the week. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice including a vegetarian option. It’s handy for exploring the town.
