Salisbury and the New Forest are just a short drive away, and there are plenty of local walks to explore. We had a fantastic week at the Old Stables. The cottage was immaculate, warm, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Highly recommended! 😃

I absolutely loved staying here and didn't want to leave. My sister and my Dog loved it too. It's a place where you can properly relax, with a home-from-home feel. The cottage was beautifully presented and very well equipped, a definite go-to for a holiday break away. ❤️

The Old Stables has a small garden and good facilities, and it's spacious and in a quiet spot within walking distance of Salisbury city center. But it wasn't as clean as we'd have liked. The toilets and showers were quite dirty, and I wondered if they'd been cleaned after the previous guests. The kitchenware also clearly hadn't been cleaned. There was too much dust and too many spiders, and the carpet was really dirty.

We spent four nights here with family and loved the cottage, its walled garden, the farmland around it and the River Avon. The farm shop was nice for lunch or afternoon tea. If you go, book ahead.

A lovely location and super accommodation, with Salisbury, Winchester and the New Forest easy to reach. Bath is an hour and a half away.
