We'd planned to turn in early after a long drive, but went down for one drink and ended up spending a brilliant evening with the owners and locals. They taught us quoits and cornhole, and we chatted about all sorts. Everyone was so welcoming, great craic, and a real community spirit. Be part of it! We stayed overnight based on the reviews and value for money.

Whenever I visit from Australia, one of the real pleasures is stopping here. The owners make you feel like you've known them for years, and the food is amazing, made with fresh ingredients. If you're in the area, drop in for a meal or a drink. You'll be glad you did.

We had a lovely Christmas meal here with relatives. I really enjoyed the turkey dinner, and my partner had the veggie version and enjoyed it too. It's also incredibly dog friendly, with staff giving dogs treats and attention.

Our office Christmas lunch was excellent. The roast was delicious, portions were hearty, and the sides were great. Everything came out quickly in a lovely atmosphere, and every plate went back clean. Would definitely recommend.

I picked this hotel as an RV to meet my cousin for lunch, and it was a very good choice. The bar had a good selection of beers, and the menu was varied with great specials. Well worth a visit. Thanks 😊
