Caer Beris Manor

We had such a lovely time here with friends and family. The manor sits in a beautiful Welsh landscape and has plenty of clean, tidy, well-arranged rooms with all the facilities. The kitchen is fully furnished, and outside there's an extensive garden, a small jacuzzi and a lovely stream, with plenty of nature around. In winter, take care on the last stretch of the drive, about 60 miles, after sunset. It's best to arrive before dark so you can enjoy the beautiful drive through Wales.

We book Caer Beris four times a year for The Corsetry Retreat. It's a characterful, beautiful old building, full of quirks. As you'd expect in a place of this age, some of those quirks need attention now and then, but there's always a caretaker around to come to the rescue.

Oh my god, it's like stepping into an Agatha Christie story. The place is amazing, with beautiful rooms, lovely shared spaces and all the original decor still there. Everything was in perfect condition. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The river was a unique treat, and the kids loved the hot tub, which was easy to use. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there were lots of lounge areas and places for our group to gather. We had 30 family members, including lots of children, for two nights at beautiful Caer Beris. The layout worked well for everyone, with downstairs rooms for less mobile guests and keys to lock each room if needed. A few small things could be better: a blue light or fly tape in the kitchen, more bathroom products, and firmer mattresses in some rooms. Those weren't issues for us, though. It was a fantastic place for the whole family, and we'd all stay again. Thank you, Cear Beris Manor!!
