We’d meant to go for a walk, but the weather changed, so we stopped in for lunch instead. The Mexican salsa panini was the best I’ve had, a fun take on a usual lunch choice. Coffee came hot and strong, the prices were fair, and the cakes looked tempting even though we didn’t try any. The two women serving us were so lovely, and we felt welcome as soon as we came in. We’ll be back.

There’s room to leave bikes in the garden, and you can keep an eye on them from inside. We had a warm welcome, excellent food, and great service during our visit today. Thanks from Tamworth Cycling Club. We’ll pass your details around the club so we can come more often.

We dropped in for coffee and a bacon roll while the Bank Holiday Fete & Well Dressing was on, and got a lovely surprise. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We’ll come back to try the afternoon tea.

Jennie made me feel very welcome at the baker vuntage tea room. She served English tea in china, and orange juice with ice in it. The place is clean and tidy, with lovely decor and a good range of food on the menu. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. Karen and Dave were lovely and made us feel right at home. The bed was super comfy, breakfast was fab, and there was delicious homemade shortbread waiting as a treat in the room. Such a fabulous place for an overnight stay after a spa visit at Hoar cross Hall. Thanks so much for being so kind.
