Aunt Rachel's Barn Hostel

We camped here in January, when lots of other places were closed. The tent pitch was fine, and the staff were friendly. The showers, toilets and kitchen were excellent. Bushmills is a short drive away, with the Giant's Causeway even closer. Highly recommend it.

The shepherds hut was surrounded by lovely scenery and had everything we needed, all to an excellent standard. The hot tub was a big hit with me and the kids. Staff were really friendly and ready to help with anything. We've just got home from a great weekend and will definitely be back.

We had takeout in the upstairs breakfast room in the barn on our last morning, and couldn't fault it. Service was very good, with friendly staff, and it's a handy base for exploring the North coast. There were lots of families, which was great with kids, and the toilets were immaculate. The games room has a pool table, air hockey and an arcade game, plus there's a small park and football nets for younger children. There wasn't a shop as advertised, though perhaps that's available at other times of year, and I didn't see cigarette disposal points around the property. I think the place will keep getting better. We've just returned and will definitely come back.

Fiona was lovely to deal with, very helpful and a pleasure. The cottages are beautiful and well maintained. Ours was spacious, slept five and had all the modern comforts, with towels supplied too. We could bring our dog, which was great. It's well situated, and the play area and games room kept the kids entertained.
