A clean, cosy cottage with everything we needed, and just the right size for our family of four. It was dog friendly too. The host was welcoming and really helpful. The area is quiet, with local paths and a great base for trips around the Peak District. Mam Tor and Blue John cavern are close by.

It feels like home as soon as you open the door. The place is set back behind the main house, so when you arrive and park it can seem a bit hidden. The area is peaceful, but it's also a good spot for getting to places. It's perfect for a couple, and I'm sure it'd suit a small family or a few friends too. Hoping to book again soon!
