We loved every part of our stay, right in the middle of farmland. The bar was warm and cosy, the food absolutely delicious, and the rooms had a quaint, charming feel. The owners are fantastic and made us feel at home as soon as we walked in. Such a great hotel. We’d definitely come back. A+++++

The food was out of this world, fresh and cooked to perfection, and our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is beautiful, too. Paul and Emma were incredibly friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Their dogs were amazing as well! Without a doubt, the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. We’ll be back many times. Thanks for such a wonderful stay, we really appreciate it. Liam & Claire

The room was great, super clean and had everything we needed, including a lovely comfy bed with quality bedding. The bar was lively and fun, and our dog Daisy was made very welcome and had a great stay too. Paul and Emma, the landlords at The Stanley Arms, are genuine, lovely people who made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely delicious; I can highly recommend the belly pork, and the gravy deserves a mention too. Our one complaint is that we could only stay one night because they were booked up! Thanks for a great stay, Paul and Emma. We’ll definitely be back.

We found this place while camping over the bank holiday and ended up camping on the grounds. The food was fresh, amazing and very well priced, and breakfast was fresh, lush and totally filling. They had good local beer alongside the regular pints on tap. The people were so friendly and welcoming, and little dog Bear is quite a character. We’ll go again, probably to stay in a room next time. The pub deserves the custom and tourism after the mammoth effort the landlady and man put in. Thanks, guys, we loved visiting and hope everything works out. See you soon, hopefully! We’ll be back regularly. The bedrooms are very large and comfortable, the food is superb, and it’s a fabulous place. The landlady, landlord and their team make sure guests are happy, whether they’re there for a drink, a meal or an overnight stay. The portions are huge, but leave room for the lovely homemade desserts. A wonderful welcome, too.
