Our group of 18 trekkers had the place to ourselves, with a well-equipped kitchen, clean linen and rooms, and enough bathrooms. It's also very conveniently placed for getting to the trek routes. The one drawback was the locked car charging points. If you arrive after 5pm, you can't use them. Proper chargers with app controls and billing would be a useful upgrade.
We came across karaoke and ended up having a brilliant night. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all good, and people were so welcoming to tourists. Drop in and see what's happening if you're nearby, you'll meet some lovely folks.
A beautiful place with a sad past. Staying there is a lovely way to take in the village.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and had even set up an Easter egg hunt for the children. We were out all day on Easter Sunday, sadly, so missed it. We stayed over the Easter weekend and really liked the en-suite family room and its comfortable beds. The shared kitchen was clean and had all the amenities for cooking and eating. It's a convenient spot for exploring North Wales, and the Wi-Fi was handy because our mobile signal wasn't great.
We loved our stay in this warm, lively community. The accommodation was comfortable and very well serviced, with a shop attached that had everything we needed. From the spot on services to the spectacular mountain setting and cinematic views of the surrounding scenery, it all felt absolutely magical. Thanks for having us ❤️
