Check-in and checkout were seamless, the staff were friendly, and the price was more reasonable than many Cambridge hotels. The location right beside the station was handy, and the beds were very comfortable. We parked at the NCP car park, which was convenient but VERY expensive. A discount deal with the hotel would’ve been nice. There were just two bath towels for us and no hand towels. Using one towel for hands and face as well as the body doesn’t feel hygienic, and it would’ve been a bigger issue on a longer stay. Drinking water in the room would also have been a nice touch. The walls seemed thin and some outside noise came through, though the heavy curtains blocked the light well and we got some sleep once our neighbours settled down. There’s a pleasant cafe downstairs with a small selection of wines and beers.

The ibis was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Its spot right beside the train station was the best part, really convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s a 24-hour bar plus a nice first-floor lounge where you can relax. No complaints, I’d happily stay again.

Prognya Saha deserves a special thank you for being so professional and doing so much to make my visit memorable. That kind of personal care is rare. I also enjoyed the excellent drink selection at the bar, a great place to unwind. The ibis Cambridge Central Station has a modern feel and a very welcoming atmosphere. My room was spotless and quiet, and the bed made for a perfect night's sleep. I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cambridge.

The team was friendly and efficient, and our clean, quiet room was ready when we arrived early. It’s ideal for exploring Cambridge, about a 15-20 minute walk away, and for catching a train, since the station is right outside the hotel. We thoroughly recommend staying here.

I’ve stayed overnight just once, but the room was clean and had a relaxing colour palette. I’m a train enthusiast, so I especially liked the view of the trains. Ask for that view if you’re into trains too. I’ve been a regular at the hotel bar and cafe for years. The design and comfort make it the best cafe in town for me, and the food, drinks and service have always been exceptional. Sarath and Val are friendly and prompt, and always make it a pleasure to visit.
