East Hook Farm & Country House

Karen made us feel very welcome, and it’s clear how much care she puts into the B&B. We stayed three nights in peaceful surroundings, with a clean, comfortable room and a small fridge. The shower room had shampoo and shower gel, and there was plenty of hot water and soft towels. We ordered breakfast the day before and really enjoyed it. We’d happily recommend the place.

The farm has cattle in the fields and lots of birdlife, which made the setting lovely. Karen was welcoming and even lent us books about Skomer. We stayed here both before and after going to see the puffins on Skomer, and the ferry was an easy distance away. Breakfast was delicious, and our room was very clean and comfortable, with a fridge, fresh milk, and tea and coffee. We’d certainly come back.

The only small drawback was the bathroom door being very low, and the floor in there sloped. Otherwise, everything had been thought through, and the suggestions for places to visit and walks were really helpful.

Karen and her family were wonderful hosts and did everything they could to help. The farmhouse is stunning, with comfortable rooms that had tea, coffee, filtered water, and a fridge. Breakfast is available if you want it. The surroundings are lovely, and beaches and shops are no more than 15 minutes away. I’d highly recommend staying here.
