We’ve just finished a fabulous two-night stay. The hotel was quiet, clean and felt safe, and the location worked well. I need some adjustments, and the team did everything they could to help. Every staff member was friendly, polite and professional. They kept my medication refrigerated and arranged adjoining rooms with a middle door so we could get between them and communicate easily. Nothing felt like too much trouble. 5/5. Handy tip: you can hire an umbrella from the hotel for £2 for 48 hours.

The breakfast was busy, but it was well organised and had plenty of good options. Everyone we met on the staff was friendly, attentive and professional. A special thanks to James in the restaurant: my wife has an egg allergy, and he took her name and room number straight away, then arranged for the chef to prepare any cooked food she wanted separately to avoid cross-contamination. His care gave her real peace of mind, since people don’t always take the allergy seriously. We only stayed one night, but the hotel made a strong impression. It’s right in central Canterbury, within a few minutes’ walk of everything. The modern building was spotless, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we slept well. The morning shower was refreshing too. We’ll definitely return soon.

We had a good breakfast and a lovely stay in a family room. The staff were lovely, and the hotel has a relaxed feel. It’s right in central Canterbury, with everything within walking distance. I’d recommend it.

This was my second visit to the Hampton by Hilton in Canterbury, England. I came alone the first time and brought my family this time. The staff were so helpful and friendly, making sure we had a pleasant stay. John checked us in and Martin handled checkout, both great. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the location is ideal, right in the city centre near everything, including the bus depot and a short walk from the train station. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, and the food on the menu was very good. Thanks, Poppy! The staff really talk with guests and take an interest in where you’re from and what brings you here. Marta even recognised me from a year ago when she saw me at breakfast. I honestly can’t find a negative thing to say about the hotel or our experience. It’ll always be my hotel of choice when I visit Canterbury, and I highly recommend it.

We’ve stayed here four times and will be back. It’s perfectly placed for visiting Canterbury, with a lovely feel and beautiful decor. Our room, 302, was clean and very quiet. Breakfast had a good range, with something for everyone. Marta and Poppy were especially welcoming and looked after guests so well. The staff are outstanding. Thank you! 😊
