The grounds are huge and would be great for children. Stable Lodge has plenty of room, with bedrooms and shower rooms on both floors and a wood burner in the main area. The beds were super comfortable, so we slept well. Louise was thoughtful, kind, and welcoming, and made an awesome full English breakfast with sausage, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast, as well as cereal and fruit. We were completely stuffed. Hope we can come back soon.

We spent three months at Stable Lodge, a great place to stay out in the countryside. Louise was a friendly, accommodating host, and Bentley the dog was very cute. It felt homely and was well worth the visit 👍🏻

The garden is huge, and there's a great pool too. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is very good, and the house looks beautiful. Stable Lodge is a nice place to stay overnight and seems suitable for both young and old.

After a long day of sightseeing, the welcome tea in the garden was just what I needed. The outdoor pool was refreshing, the surroundings were quiet, and the rooms were nice. Louise was a perfect host, and breakfast was incredible.

I had a wonderful four-night stay while visiting family nearby. Louise, the proprietor, was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and spotless, the gardens magnificent, and the breakfasts were to die for, excellently prepared and served with local produce. I'd highly recommend this place and intend to return.
