The night sky here is amazing, with no light pollution, and we always make time to enjoy it. The rustic cabin is clean, cosy and homely, with a log burner that heats it up beautifully. Wood and coal are provided. We bring groceries on the way, then spend a couple of days relaxing in the middle of nowhere. Tracey and Dave are wonderful hosts: easy to reach by text, but they give you plenty of privacy too. We’ve stayed lots of times and highly recommend it for a few quiet days.

The cabin is lovely, the setting is stunning, and it has great facilities. The owners were incredibly helpful too. Fantastic accommodation.

We came back in September after our first stay in March, when we got married at Gretna, and now we’re here again in May. The weather is amazing, and we’re enjoying prosecco with a view to die for. Can’t wait to see the stars again tonight, with no light pollution. I absolutely love this place.
