We spent a weekend night at The Homestead and had a perfect room, really clean with a very comfortable bed. Ours was en suite, but just to be clear, that room has a bath and no shower. The owners were happy to help with anything. They drove us to a local pub for dinner and picked us up afterwards, which we really appreciated. We just made a cash contribution for fuel. Maria's breakfast was something else. She's a fantastic cook, and you'll leave without needing lunch. I highly recommend this B&B, and I'm sure we'll book again.

Kevin and Maria were fantastic hosts, and we had the best experience at this beautiful, stylish B&B. The bedroom and bathroom were lovely and cleaned to a very high standard. Kevin kindly drove us to a local restaurant for dinner and collected us two nights running. We really appreciated it. The location is great and easy to get to, with lovely restaurants and cafes nearby and stunning countryside. Breakfasts were lovely too. This is a real gem of a place to stay, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

In the small village of Melling, The Homestead is a lovely, characterful B&B with fantastic bedrooms, about a 5 mile drive from Kirkby Lonsdale. Kevin and Maria did everything they could to make our stay memorable. Kevin drove us to and from the local pub where we'd booked dinner, and Maria cooked wonderful breakfasts. Well worth a visit.

Kevin and Maria made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and even gave us a lift to the village and restaurant since we don't drive. Our room was spotless, with a lovely king bed and a roll-top bath in the ensuite. It had all the extras we needed apart from an iron, which really didn't matter. The bed was luxurious and breakfast was scrumptious. The Homestead felt like a home away from home, just right for a relaxing romantic break. One practical note: most nearby roads don't have pavements, so a car or bike is probably best. We'd happily stay again. Thanks to Kevin and Maria for a lovely night!

The lift to local places was a real bonus and let us relax after taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge with three friends. Kevin and Maria looked after us so well over our two nights. Maria made an outstanding breakfast, and the house was beautiful and impeccably clean. We'd definitely come back. Thank you both! 😄
