The bar was cosy and the staff made us feel welcome when we stopped for lunch on the way through to chillingham. The fresh, delicious food used local produce, which we really liked. Definitely worth a stop, we'll be back!

Leanne and the staff were very attentive, and the food was delicious. On Thursday 29th January we shared what were the best mussels ever, then had a lovely lemon sole with new potatoes and samphire. Thoroughly recommend, and thank you all. Jane Bates

We went to the Percy Arms twice while away on a trip at chillingham Castle, and felt welcome as soon as we came through the door. It's a beautiful pub and restaurant, with helpful, friendly staff and amazing food. Portions were generous, everything tasted great and the prices were very reasonable. A great place to eat and have a drink in a friendly setting.

We stopped for lunch at 13:45 on Saturday, when just one table was free. We ordered one adult and one child's beef dinner, and were pleasantly surprised to find the children's meal was free, thur - sat. Good quality, tasty food.

The Percy Arms is in a lovely, quaint village and has a good atmosphere. The food is very good, and my vegetarian partner was impressed both by the menu choices and by her meal. Dogs are welcome at tables in the main bar area, though not in the main restaurant. There's a small selection of ales as well as the usual larger’s. I'd recommend booking, as it can get busy, especially for Sunday lunch.
