The waiting staff were friendly and attentive when we went on Monday evening, and what we did get was nice. But three mains and three desserts were unavailable, along with mushrooms and even tomato ketchup. My wife and daughter also had to choose different drinks because their first choices weren't on the menu. Who's handling the planning and ordering? The food took a long time to come out. With so few dessert options, we ordered one, but I eventually had to cancel it because it was taking so long. I enjoy treating my wife and daughter to a lovely evening out, so this was disappointing and I can't recommend it. I can see the experience could be very different if they manage to get everything lined up.

Went with family for my daughter S 18th birthday, and can't wait to come back. This was my second visit since the new owners, and the food is so much better now, spot on. Service was quick, and the staff were friendly and happy to accommodate us. That bacon and cheese burger was to die for ☺️

My wife and I had lunch here yesterday. The massala portion was great, with loads of chicken, and the fish was unbelievable, with a lovely thin tempura-style batter. We had an issue with the coke zero, but they replaced it right away without any fuss. Attentive staff and a lovely owner. Highly recommended.

The vegan Christmas dinner was lovely, nicely presented and a decent size. It came with extra gravy and vegan pigs in blankets too. Friendly, efficient service.

The salad I asked for instead of chips was only a few green leaves. My husband’s turkey dinner was very nice, but my deep-fried scampi was greasy and tasted as though other things had been fried in the same oil. When I raised it, the man who served us took my plate away, even though he could see I hadn’t eaten it. At the till I asked if he’d told the kitchen. He said yes, but didn’t apologise, and charged me £12.95. We’ve been for lunch many times, but I won’t be back.
