The balcony looks over a little lake, and I spotted more than 30 bird species from there. The south-facing patio doors also made the place feel lovely and warm during our stay. “6 Avocet Quay” is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and makes a great base for exploring the area. One update for anyone looking at the old photo: the second bedroom now has a new double bed, not the triple bunk shown there.
