We first stayed at the other Dovecote property, “The Bothy,” three times, so when we heard Michael was launching a two bedroom cottage, it was an obvious choice for a Cotswold Christmas. The Coach House exceeded all our expectations. It’s spacious, with two lovely bathrooms, a well equipped dining kitchen and a gorgeous cosy lounge. Michael has paid close attention to quality and detail, and he’s an attentive host. Whether you want to explore the Cotswolds or simply relax for a few days, the location is ideal. We can’t recommend a stay at Dovecote highly enough and will definitely be back.

Michael’s apartment looked just like the pictures, and the interior and thoughtful touches made us feel as if we were abroad. We stayed for my fiancée’s birthday weekend, and Michael had left breakfast items for us, which was so kind and much appreciated. He even went the extra mile with a bottle of rosé as a birthday gift for her. We’d definitely stay again and recommend the place to all our friends.

The countryside views and the peaceful setting were lovely, and Michael made us feel welcome with some thoughtful little touches. The place looks stunning in the photos, but the care put into every detail was even more impressive in person. Everything felt chosen to make the space warm and harmonious, and it all worked properly too. I can see why Michael gets such good reviews. We’d happily recommend staying here.

Our two-year-old was delighted to see the horses and especially the ponies each day, as The Bophy is set in the stable yard. The views are amazing, with great pubs nearby, and it would be lovely here in either summer or winter. Michael and Emily have made a wonderful retreat, with a beautiful home full of Michael’s incredible craftsmanship. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks, Michael and Emily!
