The evening fire pits and sparklers gave the day a lovely family feel, especially with our two young children there. Our guests also commented on how relaxed everything felt. It was our wedding and our time, with no sense of being rushed through. The lodges and suppliers were beautiful, and Hobbit Hill has a laid back yet luxurious feel. It doesn’t feel like a conveyor belt venue, it feels like yours. From our first visit, we knew Hobbit Hill was the one. Set in the Ribble Valley, with breathtaking views and the Tolkien Trail around it, the place felt peaceful, romantic and private. We’d planned an outdoor ceremony, but the British weather had other ideas. The indoor space was just as magical, with the recent refurbishment, greenery and cosy log fire making it warm and intimate. Jen, Laura and the whole team were welcoming and wonderful. They made everything run smoothly, never made anything feel like too much trouble, and helped us find small moments together to pause and take it all in. We’re so grateful they made our day everything we dreamed of and more. We’re still on cloud nine after saying “I do” last week. Kirsty & Rick 🤍

The wedding barn, woodland ceremony area and accommodation are all so beautiful. Our wedding went off without a hitch, with the staff on top of everything and making sure it was all perfect. The events team were brilliant too. We’re so glad we chose Hobbit Hill, it was perfect! Shout out to Maddie Farris for our photos too ❤

The forest and rustic barn made the dreamiest setting we could have imagined for our wedding. Everything about the day was perfect from start to finish. Jen and the whole Hobbit Hill team were amazing throughout. They were friendly, helpful and quick to answer our questions in the lead-up, then made sure the day ran smoothly and supported us through the whole journey. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team. Thank you for making the day so special and everything we hoped for and more.

One thing I loved was that Hobbit Hill only hosts weddings three times a week. You get essentially two full days at the venue, which is quite rare, and it doesn’t feel like a factory churning out weddings. Jen and the team were out of this world, working tirelessly with all the vendors to make sure the day went perfectly. I expected something would go wrong, but nothing did. I first saw Hobbit Hill while looking for an engagement party venue, and we knew straight away it had to be our wedding venue. The Ribble Valley views are outstanding, the barn is gorgeous and well decorated, and The Shire is a lovely place to get ready. The woodland area was exactly where I wanted to marry, and thankfully the rain held off. Best venue, day and team. Thank you so much, Hobbit Hill, for being simply amazing!

Our guests were wowed by the rustic feel, and we couldn’t have imagined a better place to get married. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful and made for fantastic photographs. The accommodation was luxurious, and having everything in one place meant less stress from travelling between locations. The weather wasn’t great, but it didn’t affect our day. A big thank you to the Hobbit Hill team for making everything run smoothly and for patiently answering my very long list of questions over the years, including on the day, haha! We’d definitely recommend considering this venue for future events.
