The service was poor, and I won't be coming back or recommending the place. Staff were often rude and seemed unsure what they were doing. They treated things like a joke instead of acting professionally. I also overheard a staff member make a rude comment about me after I sat down with my drink, apparently thinking I wouldn't hear.

Sunday lunch was gorgeous, and management handled a group of dole warriors who seemed to be complaining about everything to get free food and drinks amazingly well. Well done to the team!

A cosy spot with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were nice, and we really enjoyed the Sunday carvery. I'd recommend staying here, or just dropping in for food and a drink.

We tried the fish and chips and the steak and kidney pie with potatoes and veg for lunch. The pie was so tough I couldn't get my fork into it. Maybe the worst two meals I've ever had. Sorry, but I won't be back.

A couple of weeks ago the food and service were fab, but today's visit was a very different experience. We waited at the bar for over 15 minutes while the only lady working served one customer. Then she went to change a barrel. By the time she came back, we were at the 15 minute mark, and she started serving another customer before saying she needed to change a second barrel. We were there to order food and drinks, so when she went to deal with that second barrel, we decided to go elsewhere for Sunday lunch. Maybe we were impatient, but the thought of waiting half an hour while only two customers got drinks didn't give me much confidence.
