Splatthayes B&B

I stayed in a single en suite room, with a super comfy bed, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. The house is so cute, with dogs and cats wandering around and chickens in the garden. The chaps running it were wonderful, and breakfast was fantastic. They even offered to take me back to my car at the wedding venue the next day. I’ve travelled all over and stayed in some amazing places, but this little gem was right on my doorstep and worth my first ever review. Can’t recommend it enough. Thanks, guys! Xx

Doug and Adrian are amazing hosts, and the room was wonderfully clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable too. We only stayed briefly, but we’re already looking forward to coming back. Best place we’ve ever stayed in.

We stayed for five days in August for our daughter’s wedding and couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable room or nicer hosts. Doug and Adrian were lovely. Breakfast was delicious, and there were tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. We’ll definitely return.

My sister and I were here for a weekend workshop in the great workshop space on the grounds, and had two lovely days at the B&B. The room was warm and cosy, the beds were comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was excellent, with cooked food, real coffee and toast. The eggs come fresh from their own chickens. We’ll be back soon.
