Sandman Signature London Gatwick Hotel

Anastasija at reception made a real difference to my stay. She was kind, caring, and supportive, went out of her way to make sure I had what I needed, and helped whenever I needed it. Antonio at reception was also consistently welcoming, professional, and helpful. In the restaurant, Elsa, Marissa, and Bea greeted me with warm smiles each morning and made breakfast a pleasant start to the day. From the beginning, the whole experience was excellent, and I'm grateful to the team for the lovely hospitality and great memories. I'd highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting London for a short or long stay.

Simon and the team handled our last-minute booking changes with real care. They were accommodating throughout, and their professionalism and customer service were impeccable. Everything was taken care of smoothly and without stress, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Thanks to Simon and everyone at the hotel for the warm welcome. We really appreciated it and look forward to staying again.

The pool was a lovely feature, warm and not busy, with a nice changing area and towels available. Staff were friendly and helpful, free hot drinks in the lobby were a nice touch, and local attractions and a Tesco Supermarket were close by, just a two-minute drive. But for the price, the stay felt average. Parking at £12 a night seemed extortionate for hotel guests, especially as nearby hotels we've used either had free parking or a reduced guest rate. We skipped breakfast because £48 for three people, including a child who'd eat very little, was too much. The dated rooms also weren't what I'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Our first-floor room faced the car park, where an outdoor fan made loud, constant noise that affected our sleep. One night there was also a loud dripping sound for over an hour. It stopped before we called Reception, but still disturbed us. The air con was very loud and couldn't be used while sleeping. It also did little to cool our very hot room, even set to its lowest temperature of 16 degrees.

Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and I had such a wonderful stay. The staff were brilliant, and the rooms were delightful, clean, and comfortable. I also used the pool and on-site restaurant, and everything was perfect. An excellent hotel.
