Best Western The Crianlarich Hotel

We had a great stay, with brilliant staff and delicious food. The room could do with a proper deep clean, especially along the carpet edges and skirting boards where dust had built up. The duvet, pillows, and mattress protector were quite stained and need cleaning or replacing. We'd still recommend the place and would stay again.

Breakfast was the real highlight. I didn't eat dinner at the hotel, so can't comment on it. Check-in was straightforward, though the fire alarm went off as a false alarm and left me a little uneasy about being disturbed later. My room looked dated. Other reviews suggest some rooms have been updated more recently, but this one hadn't. It was beside the main road, though traffic didn't bother me. The staff I spoke with were all very pleasant.

I rarely write reviews, but the room facilities, toiletries, cleanliness, and service were all exceptional. Every staff member was friendly and attentive, and we couldn't find fault with them. The people running this hotel can be proud of what they've achieved. We'd recommend staying, you won't be disappointed.

A disappointing visit. The staff came across as strangely aggressive and confrontational. I was told they were doing me a favour by accepting my dinner reservation, but that I could only order pizza. Breakfast was badly cooked and very poor quality. I emailed the manager directly and got no reply after two weeks, which says it all.
