Grey Willow Yurts

We felt comfortable letting the dogs off lead in the secure field after our long walks around the countryside. The yurts were clean, comfortable and really well equipped, and the field space made the stay with dogs perfect. We didn’t need to use the log stove, but it would have been great on a colder evening. We’d definitely book again.

We were a group of adults with four dogs, and everyone loved the weekend. We booked all three Grey Willow Yurts for my partner’s surprise 50th birthday, choosing the place because it was near the airfield for a surprise parachute jump. Natalie had decorated a yurt with 50th banners and balloons and left a bottle of bubbly. The log burners were already lit, so everything felt warm and welcoming. The yurts are cosy and well kept, and the clean facilities have everything you need. We’ll definitely be back.

There’s no electricity in the Yabin, so it gets properly dark at night. We used tea lights and actually enjoyed the atmosphere. The owners also left marshmallows and plenty of wood for the fires, so toasting them was a lovely treat. We stayed two nights with our three dogs and found the Yabin cosy and well equipped, with a log fire to keep us warm. The field is large, and the Yabins are spaced far enough apart for privacy. The owners were very friendly, and we had a lovely little trip. Thank you :)

Rain came and went during our long weekend, but it didn’t spoil a moment. We stayed in Yabin 2 with our six-year-old and three-year-old, and we all loved it. The Yabins are spacious, clean, cosy and comfortable, and the amenities block has everything you need. The toilets and showers were spotless, with hot water always available. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to return next year. We’ll recommend it to family and friends. Thanks, Peter, for being such a perfect host. See you next year! ☺
