The Clarendon Hotel

Jade got in touch after I accidentally left a few things behind. She told me she'd posted them to my home address at no charge, which was so kind. Thanks for everything, and keep up the good work! The room had a fantastic sea view from its bay window. It was a good size and well equipped with drinks, a microwave, fridge, coffee machine with pods, crockery, and cutlery. The bed was soft and comfy, the bath was lovely and hot, and I slept really well. Laurie

We had a great night's stay after my wife won their Facebook competition. The Goodwin suite was comfortable and had a lovely seafront view. The location is great too, with everything just a few minutes' walk away.

For my birthday weekend, I had four baths in that incredible tub while watching TV, something I could never do at home. It was all so luxurious and relaxing. The view was amazing, perfect for someone like me who loves being by the water. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, I walked in and just went wow! Deal's high street is lovely too, and there's a little market on a Saturday. The downside was the family in the room upstairs. They had a child who kept thudding around at 4am on Saturday and 8am on Sunday, and they didn't seem to consider that people were staying below them. We have children ourselves, but we'd gone away to relax without kids, so it was a bit annoying. It wasn't the hotel's fault, just my luck, haha. Thanks for a lovely luxury birthday break with my husband. He picked well :)

After eight years of staying at The Royal, where it feels like things have steadily declined and nothing's being done, we decided to try somewhere else. We found a gem and will certainly return. The location and views are fantastic, and check-in and checkout were easy. The room was clean and very well stocked, and also well priced for a midweek stay in peak season.
