Bondgate Hotel East Midlands Airport

Steve and Julie were welcoming and said I could use the kitchen for coffee and snacks. I stayed in a lovely warm ground-floor room with a feature fireplace, no drafts, and all the creature comforts. The nearby high street has plenty of restaurants and a Co-op for essentials. Parking was easy, with off-street bays at the back. Highly recommend the hotel.

A quirky setup, but it works well. Breakfast had a huge choice, and there was plenty of milk in the fridge. The shower was great, and although parking was tricky, the space was big enough for a large estate car. There's only one chair in a double room, which is always an issue. The bus service to Nottingham, Derby, and the airport is fantastic and runs all night. The village has lots of places to eat and an amazing fabric shop.

Free parking made coming and going easy, and there’s a good pub and an excellent Indian restaurant within walking distance. I was in Castle Donnington for a business meeting and found the Bondgate Hotel room clean, stylish and very comfortable. The shower had great pressure, and breakfast facilities were top-notch. I had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend it for a comfortable, convenient visit.

There’s no hotel staff on site, and you get in using access codes, but the system worked efficiently. The rooms are modern and clean, with a good en-suite shower and toilet. The shared kitchen and breakfast room were well stocked, with plenty of food to choose from.
