City Centre B&B

I liked the owners a lot, and the house was clean. I felt safe, and the shower was somewhat hot in the morning. The room, though, didn't feel like what I'd expect from a B&B. It was a small, plain room with two twin beds and no attached restroom, so we had to share with other guests. There wasn't a coffee or tea tray, just an awful little lamp. The pictures were bunched in pairs by the door and in the opposite corner, with no other decoration. It really gave the room a dorm feel.

We didn't need to hire a car, as the location was ideal, and there was plenty of space to park anyway. The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Thanks for the kind hospitality, we really enjoyed our stay.

Bláthnaid welcomed us when we arrived and showed us around the house. Then she played Irish music for us on violin and harp, which made for the best welcome of our holiday in Ireland. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and comfortable. At breakfast we got to chat with the family's father, Connor, who was lovely and funny. We fell in love with Derry and this adorable family.

The couple who run this B&B are lovely and friendly, and it feels like a home away from home, with its own charm in every room. Our room and all three bathrooms were nice and clean, and breakfast was tasty and filling. It's just a short walk from the city centre, which was fab. :)
