We had a lovely weekend away in a quiet rural spot. There was a horse in the field, and the cottage itself was brilliant: clean, with very comfortable beds and lovely hot showers.

The owners gave us a lovely warm welcome and offered refreshments, including homemade scones. We stayed in the stables room, which was to a very high standard. The local pub wasn't serving food that weekend, but the owners kindly offered to call around and check for bookings elsewhere, and gave us recommendations. The whole family served a great full English breakfast in the morning, a nice touch. If we're in the area again, we'll visit. Fantastic B&B.

Very clean, lovely accommodation, and we were welcomed with Victoria sponge and a bottle of local apple juice. I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The hosts were welcoming and had useful tips for places to eat nearby. Breakfast was good, and the beds and bathroom facilities were comfortable and clean.
