The apartment is in a great location, but it needs a lot of maintenance and didn’t match what was advertised. When we arrived, the dishwasher had no front panel and its unsafe door hinge fell open onto my leg, leaving cuts and bruises. Very unsafe. The dishwasher has since been replaced. A window with a broken hinge had been nailed shut until repair, and the master bedroom window had a crack running from top to bottom. The bathroom pedal bin had a broken, sharp pedal. The main bedroom lampshade was badly wrecked by previous tenants, the light above the couch was missing and left the globe exposed, and the fitting above the TV and bedside light in the master bedroom both didn’t work. The kitchen hot and cold taps were hard to turn off and kept dripping, so they need new washers. There was also a large cot taking up much of the spare space in the master bedroom. It would be better to provide it only on request. The linen wasn’t hotel quality or the right size for the beds, and the pillows were thin and too few for the number of tenants. We’d read reviews mentioning a wonderful greeting from the hostess, but the greeter had the wrong phone number and sent messages we never received. We waited in the street for over an hour before a message finally reached her and she found us. After a 24-hour journey, that wasn’t a great start. I sent the landlord an email with these points as we left earlier this week, and there has been no response so far.
