Our second night was much better: they moved us to another room and we slept well. The first room had a broken A/C, so it was extremely hot. We reported it at 21:45 and were told it had been reset and might improve after 20 minutes, but it didn’t. We reported it again at 22:45 and got the same advice. They did give us a fan and said we might be moved the next day. The heat and fan noise meant a rubbish night’s sleep for both me and my wife.

You’re right among the attractions and places to eat, with the Zoo and BCLM just a 10-minute walk away. It’s one of the better places to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it. The room was lovely, the bed so comfortable, and I had a brilliant night’s sleep.

The room was okay, but for £346 for two nights I don’t think it’s worth the money. You have to ask reception to make up the room, and it isn’t serviced during the stay, yet there was only one towel for two nights. The heating controls either didn’t work or didn’t work properly. I’d also like toilet rolls rather than a paper dispenser at that price. It’s been a long-standing issue with the brand. Dinner was questionable, and breakfast was fairly basic, with a long wait for eggs. This Premier Inn shows what’s wrong with the brand.

My wife and I came this morning for breakfast after Valentine’s Day. The staff were funny and great, and the food hit the spot. Our Premier Plus room was exquisite. It’s one of my favourite hotels, partly because it lets you explore other entertainment locations. Five stars.

Breakfast was okay, and Joseph, I believe that was his name, was a lovely person to talk to and incredibly accommodating. Thank you. The connecting room was arranged by email and confirmed at check-in, but when we got there the connecting door was locked. The second room also wasn’t made up as booked. With three young children, sorting that out was a bit of a faff.
