We could head straight out walking in the countryside from the front door, and the cottage had everything we needed to cook a nice meal afterward. It was spotlessly clean, cosy and homely, in a beautiful part of the world. A lovely place for a break, and I’d highly recommend it. I can’t wait to come back.
The cottage was warm all through our February week, despite the cold, wet weather. The shower worked efficiently with good pressure, and there was enough hot water in the tank for a bath. We also made good use of the tiled entrance for muddy boots and cleaning our border terrier, and the washing machine was a welcome surprise. Rosewall Cottage was clean, warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. There was milk, butter, bread, eggs and delicious biscuits waiting, plus a coffee machine with plenty of capsules. My husband and I loved our seven nights there and were sorry to leave.
A brilliant host and everything we needed for a great stay. No complaints at all.
