The servers were kind and welcoming, and the interior is beautiful, with obvious care put into maintaining it. The meal itself disappointed me a little: the smoked salmon seemed bought in, and the fish with prawns, chorizo and cream sauce looked beige and tasted bland. The fish was overcooked. At one of the area's few rosette restaurants, I had expected more, though maybe it was just an off day. Best of luck to the team.

The team were warm, welcoming and happy to help, which made everything feel relaxed. Both the evening meal and breakfast were excellent. I couldn't fault the stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend.

We found Dunmuir at the last minute on Google, about a six-minute drive from where we were while travelling down from Fort William. The reasonably priced B&B had one room left, so we booked it. We got a genuinely warm welcome and felt nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful and spotless, with a big comfortable bed, a shower and a bath. Dinner was stunning, and the sticky toffee pudding deserves a mention, lush. You can feel how much everyone cares about doing their best, even at breakfast, which was amazing before we set off travelling again. We loved it and will definitely return. Thank you.

We arrived in the early afternoon and it was quiet inside, which I prefer. The food was perfect and so good I forgot to photograph my main course. The staff were lovely too. The restaurant is inside a hotel, so you might miss it, but it's worth finding. I'd definitely go again.
